Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to purchases made through the LiteStride online store.

Hereinafter we refer to ourselves as “LiteStride”.

2. When do these terms apply?

These terms apply to all orders placed by consumers through the LiteStride online store.

Before you place an order, you can view, save and download these terms.

3. Our products

We do our best to describe and show our products as clearly and accurately as possible.

Colours may look slightly different on a screen than in reality. Small differences in materials, finish or sizing may also occur.

Obvious errors or mistakes, such as a clearly incorrect price, are not binding.

4. Prices

All consumer prices in our online store include VAT.

Any shipping costs and other additional costs are clearly shown before you finalise your order.

LiteStride may change its prices. A price change does not affect an order that has already been placed.

5. Ordering

Before you finalise your order, you will have the opportunity to review it and correct any errors.

The agreement is concluded when you place the order and we confirm it by email.

If a product is unexpectedly unavailable or there is an obvious error, we may cancel an order. Any amount already paid will then be refunded as soon as possible.

6. Payment

The available payment methods are shown at checkout.

In principle, your order is processed once payment has been successfully completed.

7. Shipping and delivery

The current delivery time is stated in our online store.

Unless stated otherwise, we aim to process an order within 1–3 working days. The expected delivery time after that is usually 3–7 working days, depending on the destination.

We do our best to deliver within the stated time. If delivery is delayed, we will let you know.

If no other delivery time has been agreed, we will deliver within the statutory period of 30 days at the latest.

If delivery is late, your statutory rights as a consumer continue to apply in full.

Always check that the delivery address is correct when ordering. If you discover an error after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible.

8. Risk during shipping

LiteStride is responsible for the order until it has been received by you, or by a person you have designated.

Has a parcel been lost or damaged in transit? Please contact us at info@litestride.eu. We will work with you to find a suitable solution.

9. Cooling-off period and right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you in principle have a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days for an online purchase.

This period starts on the day after you, or someone you have designated, received the order.

Does a single order consist of several products delivered at different times? Then the cooling-off period starts on the day after the last product has been received.

Within these 14 days, you may let us know that you wish to cancel the purchase, without giving a reason.

You can do this:

• via the withdrawal function in our online store;

• by email at info@litestride.eu;

• or using the model withdrawal form available on our website.

After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to return the product.

The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the customer, unless LiteStride indicates that it will cover this cost.

During the cooling-off period, you may inspect and try on the product as you reasonably would in a shop.

If you use a product more than necessary to assess it and this reduces its value, we may charge you for this reduction in value.

We ask you to return the product, as far as reasonably possible, clean, complete and with the original labels and packaging.

11. Refunds

If you withdraw from your entire order within the statutory cooling-off period, we will refund the purchase price and the cost of standard delivery.

Did you choose a more expensive shipping method than our standard delivery? Then we do not have to refund the additional cost.

We will refund you no later than 14 days after your withdrawal.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or until you have shown that you have sent it back, whichever is earlier.

The refund is made using the same payment method you used for the order, unless we agree otherwise.

Return shipping costs are not refunded if it was clearly stated in advance that these are borne by the customer.

12. Statutory warranty

The statutory warranty applies to all LiteStride products.

This means that a product must meet what you may reasonably expect of it under normal use.

Is a product damaged on arrival, does it have a defect, or does it not meet what you could reasonably expect? Please contact us at info@litestride.eu.

If there is a defect for which LiteStride is legally responsible, we will provide a suitable solution in accordance with the statutory warranty rules.

Normal wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect use, or damage caused by not following care or washing instructions is not covered by the statutory warranty, insofar as the problem was caused by this.

13. Complaints

Do you have a complaint? Please contact us at info@litestride.eu.

Please include your name, order number and a clear description of the complaint. For complaints about a product, photos can help us assess the problem quickly.

We will confirm receipt of your complaint and aim to respond in substance within 5 working days. If we need more time, we will let you know.

14. Liability

LiteStride is liable to the extent required by law.

We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect or improper use of our products or by not following clear instructions for use, care or washing.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Intellectual property

The texts, photos, images, logos, designs and other content on the LiteStride website are owned by LiteStride or used with the permission of the rights holder.

This content may not be copied or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

16. Privacy

We handle personal data with care and process it in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

17. Changes

LiteStride may change these terms and conditions.

An order is always governed by the version of the terms that applied at the time the order was placed.

18. Dutch law

Agreements with LiteStride are governed by Dutch law.

If you are a consumer living in another EU country, this choice of Dutch law does not affect the mandatory consumer protection that applies to you under the law of your country of residence.

Disputes will be dealt with by the court that has jurisdiction under the law.
